Read more 01/01/2024Temporary Sidewalk Table Service Permits Have Expired in 2023 PSI officers are issuing Stop Work Orders for expired permits Washington, DC - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is issuing a reminder that Temporary Sidewalk Table Service permits have expired, as of May 31, 2023. Operations under these permits will be issued Stop Work Orders by Public Space Inspections and Enforcement officers. Permittees have 24 hours to cease operations once they receive their SWOs. the specific type of public space occupancy, construction, excavation, annual or
rental permit required for use of the public space within the District of Columbia.
Whether you need to occupy metered and unmetered curbside parking, sidewalk, alley
or travel lane areas for your activity or construction related work, TOPS will work
for you. If you are a developer or are in need of a zoning plan review through the
Development Review Branch, TOPS will work for you as well.
